WTT Week: No Finish Time, a 24-Hour Macau Sauna

Overnight recliner rest lounge at Number Nine Spa, open through the night

“I already have tickets for an evening session in September. If I only come over after the match, is that too late?” Since late August the same message has arrived in this site’s inbox again and again. It is not too late, because that night has no finishing post you have to reach: WTT Champions Macao starts at 18:30 on six consecutive nights from 8 to 13 September, the organisers published start times only, and no finish time was published for any session. Number Nine Spa is open 24 hours, and therapists are on duty until 06:00 the following morning. The arithmetic you have been doing in your head, against a time nobody ever announced, was never yours to do.

A Macau sauna keeps different hours from an arena, so there is really only one thing to decide about this night. Message us with “the evening session on such-and-such date in September,” and everything else is arranged backwards from the moment you actually walk out. Booking through this site adds three things that carry the uncertainty for you: the entrance fee is waived, a free private-car transfer covers anywhere in Macau, and two add-on services of your choice come with the booking (add-ons are the short twenty-minute extras: ear cleaning, foot work, shoulder and neck). None of that is a coupon. It is how the problem of an unknown finish time gets taken apart.

The schedule fixes the start, not the end

The half you can plan is the fixture list. WTT Champions Macao 2026 runs from Tuesday 8 September to Sunday 13 September at the Macau East Asian Games Dome, co-organised by the Macao SAR Sports Bureau and WTT with Galaxy Entertainment Group as title presenter. There are 12 sessions in all, numbered S1 to S12, with sessions at 11:00 and 18:30 each day, an 18:30 evening session on every one of the six nights, and S12 on 13 September as the final. The venue is the Dome, not a casino show arena, which is a question guests ask often enough to be worth answering here.

So what you hold is a start, not an end. The start time is printed on the ticket. The finish time is printed nowhere, and nobody is going to supply one before play begins.

Taking apart an open-ended evening

An evening with no known end turns into three small refusals: you will not book a massage for a set hour, you will not promise friends a meeting time, and you leave a buffer in your head that nothing ever uses. All three rest on the same assumption, which is that the place you are going to closes.

This house does not close. Open 24 hours means the door is still open after your session ends, and that arriving at two in the morning gets you the same reception as arriving at six in the evening.

Therapists are on duty from 15:00 until 06:00 the next morning. That is why setting out after the Dome empties is still a whole night rather than a scrap of one: take a seat for a round of the stage show, have a full massage, then decide whether to stay.

The roster has an edge, and it is worth naming. Therapists finish through the six o’clock hour, so if you plan to arrive after daybreak that is a different kind of evening, and a message asking about that day’s roster comes first.

That leaves one stretch unaccounted for: getting from wherever the session lets out to the door of the Royal Dragon Hotel, in the centre of the Macau peninsula.

Arrival is ours to handle

The tightest crush after a session is not the concourse. It is the queue for a car. That queue is precisely what booking through this site removes: a high-end private car comes from wherever you are staying straight to the door of the Royal Dragon Hotel, anywhere in Macau, with the outward run and the return both free of charge. You do not have to scan a crowd, and you do not have to describe which pillar you are standing beside. Tell us the pick-up point when you message, and the car will be waiting where you agreed. The transfer and pick-up points page has the details.

Once the car is no longer your problem, the only thing left to choose is which night.

Six nights are not one night

The 8th to the 13th is a window rather than an evening. After a Tuesday-to-Friday session the house runs quietly, and two or three friends arriving together do not need to split up. The night of the final on the 13th is different: the city stays awake much later and visibly more people are out. On 12 September the opening round of the Macao International Fireworks Display Contest also lands (21:00 and 21:40, over the water off Macau Tower), which stretches that evening a little further.

Which of the six is yours to choose. What we need is four things: the date, which evening session you hold, how many of you there are, and where the car should collect you.

Mr. Ng, a Taipei guest who has booked through this site twice and is flying in for the tournament in September, sent one line last week: “Evening session, 13 September, two of us, staying near Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro.” What time his massage starts and what time the car arrives were both left open until the moment he actually walked out.

What the night looks like inside

Nothing in the programme requires punctuality, which is the clearest line between a Macau spa of this kind and a plain bathhouse. The lobby holds a fashion-show stage with a large LED screen, rounds run on a fixed rotation, and every round is watched from a seat, so a round you arrive late for simply starts again from the top (stage and shows).

For a completely different mood, mention the themed ambience rooms when you message, where the halo ceiling and round bed put the lighting in another register. Availability on the night is the venue’s to confirm; we ask on your behalf first (rooms and facilities).

The price of a massage package already covers changing, entry and dining inside the house, with steak, soups, seafood, fried rice and noodles, coffee and tea all inside the spend, so a small-hours arrival never has to find supper elsewhere. Between the Macau spa category and the Macau sauna category, this house has always leaned to the former: performance and rooms carry more weight here than a simple soak.

A themed atmosphere suite at Number Nine Spa, purple cove lighting and an orchid
Once the purple cove lighting comes up, the room stops keeping a schedule. Whether this one can be arranged on the night is worth a line in your message, and we will ask.

One sentence on money: as of September 2026 massages start at MOP 2,299, all services carry a 10% service charge on the amount spent, and the itemised menu is on the price list.

Common questions

If I only come after the match, is that too late?

No. The house is open 24 hours and therapists are on duty until 06:00, so setting out after the session still leaves room for a full massage. Send one message as you walk out of the Dome, and the car and the service move back with you.

Should I say something a day in advance?

A day’s notice is best. The car, the room and the two complimentary add-ons are all arranged around your date, and that goes double for the 13th, the night of the final; telling us the day before makes the evening sit more comfortably. Same-day messages are taken as well; there is simply less to choose from.

I am on my own, or with two or three friends. How does that work?

Both are ordinary here. Tell us the headcount when you message and we arrange the car and the room around it. If your friends are not planning to leave the session together, say so in the message and we will work the pick-up around how the night actually runs.

Can I stay until morning?

Yes. After the massage, the recliners in the free lobby lounge will carry you to daylight, and private rest rooms are available at a charge if you want it quieter. The house is open 24 hours, departure time is yours, and staying through to morning during the September fixtures is what the inbox has been asking about most these last few weeks. Further details are on the questions page.

Session times follow whatever the organisers publish on the day; opening hours, the therapist roster, the services, room availability and prices all follow the venue’s own arrangements for that day, and we re-check the current position with you before anything is confirmed.

One action, then: message us with the date and which evening session you hold, plus your headcount and pick-up point. A post-match booking at Number Nine Spa starts with that single line, and the car and the room are arranged around the time you actually walk out of the Dome rather than a time you guessed. The steps are on the booking page.
