After Grasshopper's Sunday Show, a Second Show at Number Nine Spa

It is early Sunday evening in Senado Square. The lamps by the fountain are coming on over the wave-patterned paving, and the shops under the arcades of San Ma Lo have their lights on. If you are going to Grasshopper’s “Three in Love” concert in Macau this Sunday, that show is at the Cotai Arena in The Venetian Macao, starting at 6 pm on 25 October, and once it is over there is still plenty of Sunday night left. A private car can be waiting outside your hotel.

The concert is the night’s first show. The second can be across on the peninsula, at Number Nine Spa in the Royal Dragon Hotel, where there is a fashion-show stage in the lobby, a dining area where you can sit down to a proper dinner, and a one-to-one hour in a private massage room. Together they make the second half of a Sunday night.

The lobby stage

The fashion-show stage at Number Nine Spa sits in the lobby, with a proper runway, a wall-sized LED screen behind it and a full rig of stage lights overhead. What plays there is a fashion show, run on the runway in scheduled rounds, and it is seated from start to finish. There are seats in front of the stage and bar-counter seats right beside it, so all you have to do is take a seat, order a drink and watch.

The dining area

With a show that starts at six, most people have not had dinner yet. The dining area at Number Nine Spa sits beside the lobby bar and stays open all night. Hot dishes include steak, seafood, lamb and pork, along with fried rice, fried noodles and a few soups, and there are sandwiches if you want something lighter. To drink there is coffee, tea, milk tea, juice, soft drinks and Red Bull.

The meal is included in every massage package, and only spirits and wine are charged as you drink them. Marble tables, a gold landscape panel on the wall, a white moth orchid on the table: this Sunday dinner comes late, but it is not a makeshift one.

October prices

As of October 2026, massage packages at Number Nine Spa run from MOP 2,299 to 6,999, and a 10% service charge is added on top, with the bands set out on the price list. Book through this site and you get a free private car anywhere in Macau, with the return trip arranged in advance. There are also two free add-on services, chosen on the spot in the rest area once your massage is done.

The private room

Once the stage show is over, the night’s encore takes place in a private massage room, where one therapist spends a one-to-one hour with you alone. Like any good encore, it leaves you wanting more, and what it feels like is something you only learn by being there. Friends who have tried it say this hour is the first thing they think of when Number Nine Spa comes up. The contentment you carry out of that room lasts longer than any encore.

Before you head out on Sunday

If I only set off after the concert on Sunday, will therapists still be on?

Yes, and Number Nine Spa is open 24 hours. Therapists keep separate hours, 15:00 until 06:00, and a Sunday-night arrival falls inside them.

Can I stay until Monday morning?

Yes, you can stay the night, and a private rest room can be had for a fee.
